Popular clothing brand Weird Fish is holding a “Meet the Artist” day at its store in Weymouth on Friday April 1.
Weird Fish cartoonist and illustrator, Richard Skipworth will be in store from 10am until 3pm doing airbrushing demonstrations on T-shirts, and revealing how he brings the brand to life. There will also be a chance to win one of 10 original T-Shirt designs, as airbrushed on the day. As well as this, there will be an additional 20 per cent off everything in store to celebrate the day and goody bags worth £20 for the first 20 customers. Retro nibbles and drinks will also be served throughout the day.
A life-size T-shirt design will be on display in the store with a space for shoppers’ faces. Photos will be encouraged to be taken for social media with the hashtag #SelfPortrout to be in with the chance of winning £100.
Born from a love of the great outdoors, Weird Fish offers well-made, easy-going clothes that evoke that ‘forever weekend’ feeling. The brand has come a long way since creating its first T-shirt back in 1993 and is renowned for its instantly recognisable slow-spun Original Macaroni™.
John Stockton, managing director at Weird Fish, said: “We believe the Meet the Artist Day will provide a great day out for all the family. Keep an eye out for our special #SelfPortrout campaign in store to be in with the chance of winning £100.”
