This summer, Jurassic Skyline will be transformed into Dorset’s Tallest Art Gallery at 174ft celebrating the work of local artist Olivia Nurrish from 9th July until 4th September. This all-new event will host a mini exhibition for guests who will also be able to witness 360 degree views of the Jurassic Coast at the same time.
Olivia Nurrish’s recent work shows the extent to which she has been inspired by the remarkable nature of the Dorset coast. Still life, portraiture and landscape are the principal themes of her work and the artwork on display for this event will showcase the delights of Weymouth, along with the surrounding areas along the Jurassic Coast.
Olivia has held a number of successful exhibitions in Lyme Regis, Portland, Weymouth, Dorchester and Bristol. She also was a founding director of Artwey, a collective of Weymouth and Portland artists, and has organised several of their Open Studio events.
General Manager of the attraction, Tamsin said: “We’re really excited to be able to host Olivia Nurrish for the summer and our guests will get the ultimate seaside experience through local art, spectacular views plus Jurassic Skyline cider; for that all-encompassing West Country feel.”
