Art Deco National Trust Portland House Open Days

The National Trust welcomes you inside this remarkable property on the 15th, 16th and 17th May 2026.

Portland House is a hidden gem on the Dorset coastline, overlooking the glittering sea and basking in the tropical climate of the South Coast, which can rival the Mediterranean on a sunny day. Lounging elegantly at the top of a slope overlooking the harbour at Portland, this extraordinary house, surrounded by a huge garden and terraces invokes the sophistication and luxury of old-school Hollywood, with its palm-fringed drive, pacific-blue Crittal windows and the house itself dazzlingly white against the blue of the sea beyond.

The house is free to enter for National Trust members.
Non member adults are £5 and non member children £2.50.

Pre-booking is not required.

Portland House will be offering a food and beverage unit at site for the duration of the Open Days which can accept card and cash.

We will be offering for sale the Portland House, National Trust pin badge as well as the passport stamps. To purchase the pin badge we can only accept cash.
