Locals are invited to come along to the Marsh and help plant out the fruit trees for the new community Orchard on The Marsh.
Organised by Friends of The Marsh with funding backing from Weymouth Carnival and Dorset County Council as well as donations from Jewsons Building Supplies, Value House and support from Weymouth and Portland Borough Council Parks Department the plan is for the orchard to grow and flourish providing a source of free fruit for all and a relaxing area to walk in and encourage wildlife.
What a brilliant idea …
