Weymouth Lifeboat Week - Lifeboat Open Day

Step aboard and experience one of the highlights of Weymouth Lifeboat Week as the crew of Weymouth Lifeboat welcome visitors for a special Lifeboat Open Day.

Taking place on Saturday 8 August from 10.30am to 3.00pm, this is a fantastic opportunity to get up close to the lifeboats, meet the volunteer crew and learn more about the vital lifesaving work they carry out around the Dorset coast.

Crew members will be on hand throughout the day to answer your questions, explain how the lifeboats operate and share insights into the training, equipment and rescues that make Weymouth Lifeboat such an important part of the local community.

There will also be plenty of opportunities to take photographs, making this a great event for families, photography enthusiasts and anyone interested in maritime life.
