You’re Invited to a Street Party for King George III Royal Birthday Celebration! 🎉
Join us on Saturday 6 June, from 3:00–4:00 pm, outside The Black Dog at the King’s Statue end of St Mary Street, Weymouth, for a joyful street party!
✨ Tables and chairs will be available but must be booked in advance. Everyone is warmly welcome—simply reserve your free seat on Eventbrite so we know how many to expect. (Please have your ticket ready when you arrive.) Spaces are limited, so book early to avoid missing out!
👑 Bring along your own picnic treats and enjoy a relaxed, bring-your-own afternoon tea as we mark the birthday of King George III (4 June)—Plus celebrate a very special local guest, Richard, who turns an incredible 91 on 6 June too! 🎂
🎭 Nothing is rehearsed—just come as you are, and dress up in your finest, most fabulous attire (period drama appreciated if the mood takes you!)
🧁Bring your own food, your drinks, your friends, and your festive spirit. (many shops, cafes and pubs are nearby if you wish to buy something to bring prior to being seated)
🌟 Let’s come together to create a truly memorable celebration for Weymouth—full of laughter, history, community pride, and support for our wonderful Weymouth Museum.
