Abbotsbury Swannery
Between mid-May and the end of June the Baby Swans (Cygnets) hatch and take their first steps from dozens of nests across the Swannery. Explore the Swannery and witness this unique sight of the fluffy cygnets. It is truly a magical time of year to visit the Swannery which is set in 25 acres, nestled alongside the Fleet Lagoon and Chesil beach.
Feeding the herds by hand, is a special part of any visit to the Swannery, the herd of approx. 600 swans are fed at midday and 4.00pm daily. Included also is the Swan Maze (the largest willow maze in Dorset), Pedal Go-Karts, Wild Meadow Walk, Coffee Shop and Gift Shop. Car Parking is free on site to visitors.
