The play area is suitable for children aged from three to 12 years. It includes a climbing hut, a seesaw, a trampoline, a combination swing, as well as many pieces of equipment suitable for children with disabilities.

Saturday 1 December the entire town centre comes alive with the main attraction being a fantastic Giant Snow Globe outside Debenhams, where people will be instantly transported - for free - to their very own Christmas Wonderland.
Every year thousands of people line the harbour at Weymouth to witness this annual Lions event which has become a landmark event for the town. 498 swimmers took the plunge last year, which was a record, raising over £20,000* for a whole host of national and local charities.
