Weymouth’s Historic White Horse was carved into the hillside near the village of Osmington in honour of King George III who had adopted Weymouth as his seaside retreat and used to bring is court to the town annually.
Viewable from the roadside as you travel out of Weymouth should you wish to get up close and explore you will find a footpath that takes you to it in the village of Sutton Poyntz
