Durdle Door an Iconic Beauty Spot on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast
It’s probably safe to say that Durdle Door is not only the most iconic spot on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast but also ranks amongst the most iconic views in Europe. Take a look at this video and it’s easy to see why.
Heading east from Weymouth the drive to Durdle Door takes around 30 mins just follow the signs out of town towards Poole then after around ten miles take the turning for Lulworth Cove and look out for the signs to Durdle Door.
Durdle Door is a part of the Lulworth Estate, when you arrive you’ll find plenty of car parking. Be aware that it is quite a long walk down the cliff path to the beach but if this doesn’t appeal to you it’s still worth visiting and taking time to view this magnificent stretch of the Dorset coast from the cliff top.
