The Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy is a purpose built centre of excellence for sailing and windsurfing located within Portland Harbour with access to some of the best sailing waters in the world.

The academy has a well deserved reputation for hosting major international events most notably, in 2012, it played host to the Sailing Events of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Throughout the year scarcely a week goes by without a national or international event being held at the academy and Team GB and other national teams regularly take advantage of the academy’s facilities as a part of their training regime.

The academy is not just for elite sailors though and it prides itself in being at the heart of the community providing facilities for all ages and abilities to experience sailing and windsurfing through it’s main partners Sail Laser and the OTC ( windsurfing).

WPNSA is open to the public and is a fabulous place to while away an hour or two enjoying a drink on it’s balcony whilst watching the activity on the water below.

It’s various halls and meeting rooms also make it a firm favourite location for many varied events and a wonderful licensed wedding venue.
