Lynne and Andy Fisher own and manage St Johns with their daughter Chloe.

We are a professional yet friendly, environmentally aware business, and are dedicated to ensuring the experience that you have with us is an enjoyable and memorable one.

Many of our rooms have been upgraded since our arrival and all offer en-suite. We have private parking and a very warm welcome!

Built in 1880 the guest house is a Victorian terraced house situated opposite St Johns church along the seafront. Just a 10 minute walk to the town and 20 minutes to the harbour we benefit from close proximity to the sea but also the quieter neighbourhood.

All of our guests say how lovely and quiet the house is – perfect for a stay to recharge your batteries. Our dining room on the ground floor has the high ceilings and original coving valued by the Victorian architects. The front porch also still has the original tiling but modern architecture has allowed us to install a downstairs toilet – perfect after these long journeys!

We benefit from two en-suite rooms on the ground floor – perfect if stairs are a problem.

A delicious cooked to order breakfast is served in our sunny ground floor dining room. Buffets are a thing of the past at St Johns – breakfast needs to be part of your holiday experience., so is prepared and served to your table. We are delighted to have recently been awarded a Breakfast Award by the AA!
