This season’s Thursday Night Summer Sessions at The Boat Café bring even more live music magic to Weymouth Beach across the summer, adding a run of special one-off nights to the much-loved Sunset Sessions programme in addition to the Iconic Tuesday night Summer Sessions with The Leggomen.
Taking place on selected Thursday evenings from 23rd July to 27th August 2026, these beachside gigs showcase some of the popular local bands and live acts that help make Weymouth’s summer music scene so special.
Set right on the sand at The Boat Café, these evenings are all about great live music, a brilliant atmosphere and that unmistakable Weymouth summer vibe. With the sea just metres away and the sun going down over the bay, it is a unique setting to enjoy an evening out with friends, a drink in hand, and live music filling the beach.
This summer’s Thursday Night Features include appearances from Jolly Boys Outing, Chief Lazarus, The Hooked, and That Britpop Band! — all guaranteed to bring plenty of energy, crowd-pleasing tunes, and a fantastic party atmosphere to Weymouth Beach.
Whether you grab a seat at the café or enjoy it from the sand, these popular Thursday night sessions are a great way to make the most of a summer evening by the sea.
