As this year’s EUROVISION SONG CONTEST should have been held in UKRAINE, we thought that hosting ‘EUROVISION AT THE PAVILION’ would be the ideal opportunity to raise funds to create a ‘Support Hub’ to help South Dorset Ukrainian War Refugee Families.
There are many practical needs such as finding housing, gaining employment, etc. (We currently have Ukrainian doctors, dentists, teachers working as shop assistants, gardeners, etc., learning the English language and completing applications and administration tasks, start up small business enterprises, and much more). Although these brave and inspirational people have every intention of returning to their homeland, this will not be happening in the near future as the war drags on. Please help us, help the Ukrainians and, thereby in turn, help our local community.
