Weymouth Lifeboat Week Crabbing Competition

Join in one of the most popular family activities on the harbour during Weymouth Lifeboat Week with the annual Crabbing Competition.

Taking place on Tuesday 11 August from 11am to 12pm, the competition will be held on the harbourside by Weymouth Lifeboat Station and is open to all ages.

Participants should register by 10.45am ready for the competition to begin at 11am. Whether you’re a seasoned crabber or giving it a go for the first time, it’s a fun way to spend the morning with family and friends.

Forgotten your crabbing gear? Don’t worry. The nearby RNLI Shop  will have everything you need, including buckets, lines and nets, so you can get started straight away.
