Weymouth Lifeboat is funded entirely by voluntary donations and keeps people safe in our waters with a band of dedicated volunteers who man the main lifeboat, two types of inshore lifeboats and the lifeguard station on Weymouth’s main beach. Lifeboat Week is your chance to say thank you enjoy some great demonstrations and donate to this worthwhile cause.

Sunday July 26 7.30pm
Lifeboat Service on the Harbourside at the Pavilion Ferry Steps
Monday July 27 6.15pm
Lifeboat and Helicopter Display off Nothe Gardens. This is a family event with hot food and bar available, live music and various stalls to browse. It’s always a great evening out and one of the most perfect places to watch the lifeboat s and helicopter go through their paces.
Wednesday July 29 6.30pm
Lifeboat and Helicopter at Bowleaze Cove. If you missed Monday’s here’s another chance to to catch the lifeboats and helicopter in action.
Thursday 30 July 6.30pm
BBQ with live music at Weymouth Sailing Club, Nothe Parade
Saturday August 1 10.30-4pm
The lifeboats and Lifeboat Station will be open to the public giving the public an opportunity to see behind the scenes. There will be a charity raffle with the draw at 4pm
