  • Nothe Fort is inviting the local community to a FREE Eclipse Viewing Evening on Wednesday 12 August from 6.30pm to 8.00pm.

    With its spectacular elevated position overlooking Weymouth Bay, the Fort is set to be one of the best places locally to experience this rare event. Eclipse glasses will also be available to purchase on the evening, making it easy to enjoy the spectacle safely.

    The eclipse will be the closest the UK has come to total coverage of the Sun for 27 years, so it’s an opportunity not to be missed. The maximum eclipse will happen at 7.15pm
