Following the success of the previous Festivals, the Royal Navy Rugby Union is delighted to be invited back to Weymouth Beach for a day of competitive, thrilling and enjoyable rugby.
Held on four ‘pitches’, teams of 5 players from all over the UK representing Naval Bases, Airstations and training establishments as well as ship’s teams come together to battle for bragging rights. Popular with tourists and locals alike, the final between the Royal Marines of 30Cdo and the sailors of HMS Raleigh had in excess of 100 people cheering them on with the Marines taking the spoils winning with a 1 try advantage.
All are welcome to enjoy the day.
