Following the success of our first live Repair Cafe Weymouth event, when 85 items were brought in for repair by our volunteers, our next event will be on Saturday 8th June, from 10.30 to 12.30.
Start collecting your broken items for repair and those clothes that need adjusting.
Our volunteer repairers can fix them and show you how – sharing the skills:
Mobile phones, tablets, PCs, gadgets and games, software advice
Electrical and electronic items
Tool sharpening on sharpening stones
Wobbly legs? – we glue and screw!
Ceramics, rigid plastics (freezer boxes, toys …)
Bicycles
Mechanical stuff
Take up a hem or fix a zip
Jewellery
If it’s too big, bring a photo, make and model number and we’ll talk about it.
Or just come and see how we operate, and have a cup of tea or coffee at our reading table in the Palm House Cafe, Melcombe Regis Car Park, Commercial Road, Weymouth DT4 7DW.
It’s a good idea to tell us what items you might bring by sending us a message from our Facebook page or website so we have the right tools and materials.
