Jurassic Coast Challenge

The Jurassic Coast Challenge, scheduled for May 17-18, 2025, offers participants the opportunity to walk, jog, or run along Dorset’s stunning Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The event features various distance options, including the full 100 km challenge, 75 km, 50 km, 25 km, a new Weymouth Marathon (42 km), and a 10 km Bridport route, catering to a wide range of fitness levels. ​
Ultra Challenge

Lodmoor Country Park in Weymouth serves as a significant point in the challenge. For participants undertaking the first half (58 km) or the second quarter (34 km) of the challenge, the park acts as the finish line. Additionally, it is the starting point for the second half challenge (42 km) on Sunday, May 18, with registration opening at 5:15 am for rolling starts between 6:00 – 6:30 am. ​

Lodmoor Country Park is a popular destination offering various recreational facilities, including footpaths, a nature reserve, and picnic areas, making it an ideal location for both participants and supporters to gather and enjoy the event. ​

Participants can expect comprehensive support throughout the challenge, with fully signed routes, regular rest stops providing free food and drink, and assistance from medics, marshals, and massage therapists. Upon crossing the finish line, challengers will be greeted with a warm welcome, a glass of fizz, a t-shirt, and a special medal to commemorate their achievement. ​
