iQFOiL World Championship 2026 - Weymouth & Portland

The iQFOiL World Championship is set to bring world-class windsurfing to Weymouth and Portland from 7 to 12 September 2026. Over six days, the area will host elite riders from the international Olympic circuit as they compete on the renowned waters of Weymouth Bay and Portland Harbour, a venue long associated with top-level sailing.

Known for its fast, high-adrenaline format, iQFOiL racing showcases athletes flying above the water on hydrofoil boards, with racing speeds reaching around 35 knots. Visitors can expect a spectacular week of action featuring Olympic medallists, world champions and some of the sport’s most exciting emerging talent, all competing against the dramatic backdrop of Dorset’s Jurassic Coast.
