Weymouth Lifeboat Week Paddleboard Competition 2026

Get ready for an evening of fun, friendly competition and fantastic atmosphere at the Weymouth Lifeboat Week Paddleboard Competition 2026. Taking place at the OTC on Thursday 6 August, teams will go head-to-head on giant paddleboards in aid of the RNLI, with all entry fees going towards this important cause.

Whether you’re taking part or cheering from the shore, expect plenty of excitement, music and great summer vibes throughout the evening. The event is open to teams of all abilities, with all safety and paddle equipment provided.

Event Schedule

• Arrival: From 5:00pm (to complete registration, waiver forms and payment)
• Race briefing: 5:40pm
• First race: 6:00pm
• Finish: Approximately 8:30pm

Team Information

Teams must consist of 6 to 10 participants.

Entry costs £10 per person, payable in cash on the day, with all proceeds donated to the RNLI.

How to Enter

Team registrations must be submitted before Tuesday 4 August. Entries will then close to allow the race schedule to be organised.

The WPNSA will be serving a BBQ and bar throughout the evening (available at an additional cost), while the OTC provides music, racing and a lively beach atmosphere, making this one of the highlights of Weymouth Lifeboat Week.
