WPA Summer Kids Club October Half Term Activities

WPA’s October Half Term activities are now open for booking.
Running Monday to Friday over the October Half Term Holiday: 28th October – 1st November 2024.

What’s On:
Kids Club activities for ages 6-16 – 2.5 hour sessions AM & PM
Spooky Scavenger Hunt sessions (for ages 6+ but must include one adult aged 18+) on kayaks or paddle boards.
Plus one special evening Pumpkin Lit session on Wednesday 30th October at 6pm.

SCAVENGER HUNT INFO:
Paddle out on the waters of Portland Harbour seeking out and finding the answers to our spooky Halloween themed riddles.
Times: 3 Scavenger Hunt sessions running daily Monday – Friday at 10:00-11:30, 12:00-13:30 or 14:00-15:30

Choose from a 2 person stand up paddle board, double or a triple kayak.
*Please Note: One 18+ Adult Required per Kayak/SUP

Prices: £15 per Double Kayak or SUP/£20 per Triple Kayak

KIDS CLUB INFO:
Seven Activities available in 2.5 hour AM or PM sessions over the week (please see attached poster for more details):
Sailing
Wind Surfing – *new for 2024
Climbing (w/Kayaking as a poor weather contingency activity)
Kayaking
Stand Up Paddleboarding
Spooky Raft Build Challenge
Mega Stand Up Paddleboarding
Prices:
£27.50 pp per session (£22 with discount)
10% discount if 3+ sessions booked

Times: AM 0930 – 1200 and/or PM 1300 – 1530
We can provide lunchtime supervision if required between sessions for £5 per participant per day.
Please note food is NOT provided and participants will need to bring their own.

EQUIPMENT / FACILITIES:
We provide all kit and equipment including wetsuits, buoyancy aids and helmets.
Changing/showering facilities are available in the National Sailing Academy on site.
Sailing Centre cafeteria available for public use with a viewing balcony if you wish to make a day of it and stay on site.
