  • This is one of a number of activities being run by partners as part of a wider Dorchester Science Festival.

    Join Kevin Quinn, an experienced local astronomer, at 7.30pm at Maiden Castle Car Park for a fascinating, free talk about the summer night sky.

    Beginners and astronomers of all levels and of all ages are welcome. You will learn to identify key celestial bodies – and enjoy the opportunity to look through a high quality telescope.

    Come suitably dressed for the weather – if it is looking cloudy or wet the event will be rescheduled.
