Art, Sparkles and Merry-go-Rounds

Join our B-side Fringe Festival weekend this September for a light-hearted and nostalgic look at the traditional fairgrounds of old! Roll up! Roll up!

Have your fortune read by ‘Mystic Mac’, sit for Yollandedoodles in the ‘Doodle box’ and take away an original ‘funny features’ doodle. Enjoy peep-hole hilarity and hoopla in the courtyard. Joining in the fun and opening up their studios are Yollande Posthumus with talented guest print-maker Georgie Moore, Sea and Silver Jewellery School collective with an array of hand-crafted silver jewellery, encaustic artist Lyn Kirkland welcoming renowned local painter Olivia Nurrish, and Mark Clayton of Print and Bedamned, who will be taking this opportunity to open his screen-printing studio for the first time. We will also have the delightful woodcraft object d’arts of Ian Baird. The travelling Tiny Gallery will also be here with a special exhibition of magic, illusion and oddity, celebrating the dangerous and slightly non-PC entertainments of old! Be warned!! All this and original artwork, gifts and cards too…
