SandWorld’s incredible sand sculpture festival in Weymouth is home to breathtaking, larger-than-life creations crafted by talented sand sculptors from around the world.

Open for their 15th season from Saturday 5th April 2025, until Sunday 9th November.

This year is extra special as SandWorld celebrates 100 years of Sand Sculpting Heritage in Weymouth. Fred Darrington, Mark Anderson’s grandfather, first began sand sculpting in Weymouth a century ago, and his legacy continues to inspire phenomenal creations today.
During this year’s event, see creatures that lived 83 million years ago, a full-colour Egyptian Prince, kids’ favourite characters and incredible, inspirational, original artwork from some of the world’s finest sand artists. There is something for everyone! It’s amazing to think these spectacular sculptures have been carved from just sand and water!
