The fantastical Castles & Dragons adventure returns to Nothe Fort for the May Bank Holiday Weekend! 10am – 4pm, Saturday 2 to Monday 4 May.
Step into a world of dragons, knights, and medieval mayhem as Nothe Fort in Weymouth hosts its much-loved Castles & Dragons event over the May Bank Holiday Weekend.
Set against the dramatic backdrop of the historic fort overlooking Weymouth Bay, the three-day event promises a fun fantasy adventure designed especially for children and families looking for something a little bit different to do over the holiday.
Throughout the weekend, young visitors can hunt for hidden dragon eggs across the fort, explore the maze, try their hand at medieval-style jousting games, take up axe-throwing, and watch historical combat demonstrations by local re-enactors taking place at intervals throughout the day.

One minute you’re hunting for dragon eggs, the next you’re watching knights in action – and it all happens inside the incredible historic setting of Nothe Fort.
