Weymouth’s number one heritage attraction, Nothe Fort, will be welcoming visitors for nine days of family fun with Pirate Week between Saturday 25th May – Sunday 2th June. Open daily between 10:30am-4:00pm, visitors can expect heaps of pirate fun and treasure to find.
The passion for pirates in Weymouth is well known, and bringing that theme to life, Nothe Fort invites visitors to make the most of the May Half Term with their fantastic Pirate Week. Set sail for a day of family-friendly adventure with Pirate of the Fort, fit for the whole crew!
- Pirate Ship: Climb aboard our magnificent pirate ship and explore the high seas like a true captain.
- Walk the Plank: Test your balance and bravery, can you make it across, or will you end up in Davey Jones’s Locker?
- Panning for Gold: Have a go at treasure hunting as you pan for sparkling gold nuggets.
- Pirate Hook Hoopla: Sharpen your aim and compete in the Pirate Hook Hoopla game.
- Fire at the Attacking Ships: Fire cannonballs at the attacking ships!
- Tots Pirates Games: Give our pirate games a go!
- Pirate Crafts: Decorate your very own pirate ship and flag.
Plus, some extra pirate-y surprises throughout the week. And it wouldn’t be the Fort without a themed Warren & Winnie Mouse Hunt too.
With pirate costumes encouraged and a treasure trove of activities, our Pirate Extravaganza promises to be unforgettable family fun. So, don your eye patch, hoist the Jolly Roger, and set sail for a swashbuckling adventure. Arrrr, ye won’t want to miss it!
