With the festival less than eight weeks away (11th & 12th September), the recent announcements from the government gives the organisers the opportunity to make some welcome changes to this year’s event.
Until the announcement the festival had offered tickets for morning or afternoon sessions, to ensure it could give as many people as possible the chance to attend, while complying with the restrictions put in place.
Since these restrictions have now been lifted they’ve to announce that tickets are now available for a whole day at the same price of £10 per person (children under 16 can still attend free of charge). Tickets already purchased for a morning or afternoon session will automatically be valid for the whole day too.
Covid safety measures will still be in place, and will still be allowing for plenty of space – to give confidence to those who aren’t ready for the crowds of previous years, whilst also providing better value for money and a better experience for those who wish to spend their time at the Festival leisurely.
Existing ticket holders will be contacted by email to confirm the changes, and those who have booked multiple sessions on the same day will be eligible for a refund on their second session.
The festival organisers look forward to welcoming everyone to what will be an amazing celebration of seafood and English sparkling wine. With stage demos from top chefs, live music, children’s cookery workshops, delicious seafood and a new “BLUE Seas” feature on the health of our oceans, the Festival is a must for any seafoodie!
