A new chapter in the re-vitalisation of Weymouth’s Brewers Quay was written this morning when the Mayor of Weymouth Ray Banham accompanied by Mayors Escort Pamela Nixon opened the new Brewers Quay Auction House and started the first auction by auctioning the very first lot.
A crowd of around a hundred had arrived at the auction prior to the launch and many more were expected during the day as over three hundred lots go under the hammer.
There was huge range of lots on display ranging from antiques and curios to period furniture and a collection of Falkland Islands memorabilia
The next auction takes place Friday 19 July
