These wide wheeled wheelchairs have been donated by Weymouth Lions Club. They  are perfect for use on the sands and give those with disabilities the opportunity to cross Weymouth Beach’s soft sand and get down to the waters edge.
Hire of the wheelchairs is free from Weymouth Beach office near The Statue or just ask one of the members of the Weymouth Beach control team .

I was very surprised to find a wheelchairs that can go on a beach because last year I had to stand on the promanade looking down at people in the sea and toasting them selves on the sand even my poor husband had to put up with this, this news is great plus I will be able to go on the pet section with dogs thank you very much for supplying these
