  • This August Bank Holiday Weekend , b-side invites families to join The Big Flinger – a gloriously eccentric, family-friendly adventure on the Isle of Portland, and a brilliant photo opportunity featuring teddies being launched sky-high.

    Emerald Ant performers will take military occupation of the historic High Angle Battery, transforming it into a training ground for would-be defenders of King and Country – teddies included. Bring your bear, your bravery (or just your curiosity) and join in the drills with a purpose-built cannon before heading out on a High Angle Adventure.

    Performances are free to watch, with interactive team tickets (£3.50) for those ready to take part. Shows last 40 minutes, running at 11.30am, 1pm and 2.30pm – booking essential for team places.
