As proud members of Taste of the West we work hard to source some of the finest ingredients that Dorset and the West Country have to offer, as part of our membership we opted to enter the annual competition in the Café/Coffee shop category.
The judge visits secretly to eat/drink and get a sense of what you do and it’s not until the end of their visit that they tell you who they are, well that day happened recently, when the judge advised us who they really were it causes some degree of worry and excitement whilst you relive what you showed them, did you explain your concept well enough, was the food they had showing the produce off to its best, and your skills too.
Well we’re very proud and extremely pleased to announce that we have been awarded a highly coveted GOLD award, we want to shout it from the rooftops and hope this helps us introduce more people to the beautiful produce of this wonderful part of the country.
Our congratulations to Cafe Weymouth , we’ve eaten there on a few occasions and know the award is well deserved !
