Weymouth Museum Teas and Talks: Weymouth’s Tudor Buildings with Graham Perry

A welcome return to Weymouth Museum for popular speaker Graham Perry, this time turning his attention to Weymouth’s Tudor buildings and the stories they can tell about the town’s past.

Weymouth and Melcombe Regis underwent considerable change during the Tudor period, with buildings from the era providing fascinating clues to how people lived, worked and traded. In this illustrated talk, Graham will explore some of the town’s surviving Tudor buildings, along with others that have disappeared or changed considerably over the centuries.

An opportunity to look beyond modern-day Weymouth and discover traces of the town that would have been familiar to its residents more than 400 years ago.
