  • After weeks of fascinating discoveries at the Weymouth Bowling Alley archaeological dig, this is the final opportunity to step onto the site and see what has been uncovered beneath the streets of Weymouth.

    “The Final Curtain” invites visitors to St Nicholas Street for one last look at the finds, artefacts and excavation work that has helped uncover another chapter of the town’s history. Meet the team behind the dig, hear more about the discoveries, and experience the site before work comes to an end.

    Whether you’ve followed the dig from the beginning or are simply curious to see what’s been found, everyone is welcome to come along and explore Weymouth’s past.
