  • 🏉 Royal Navy Beach Rugby returns to Weymouth Beach this summer for what promises to be one of the most exciting and energetic sporting events on the town’s community calendar!

    Organised by the Royal Navy Rugby Union, teams from across the UK will descend on Weymouth on Wednesday 15 July 2026 to battle it out on the sand in a full day of fast-paced beach rugby action.

    Expect teams representing ships, naval establishments, Commando units and squadrons, all competing through the pool stages and knockout rounds with one goal in mind — lifting the Royal Navy Beach Rugby trophy 🏆

    With Weymouth Beach providing the perfect backdrop, spectators can enjoy a brilliant atmosphere packed with sporting rivalry, teamwork, beachside energy and plenty of action throughout the day.

    Whether you’re a rugby fan, supporting friends and family, or simply looking for something different to enjoy by the seafront, this is set to be a fantastic summer event to watch.
