The second of three Summer Evening History Talks presented by the Friends of Weymouth Museum.
Steve Wallis, Senior Archaeologist for Dorset Council, will present this talk about Britain’s only fully-exposed Roman urban domestic household. It was found during the construction of County Hall in Dorchester in the 1930s and has been on display ever since. The talk will explain the site’s history from Roman times to the present day, including the recent project that has improved access to the remains and a lot more, and will also put the Roman Town House into its wider context. No Records Found
