The Marsh Skateboard Park & Parkour Area is community space that provides a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for people of all ages to have some fun. The new skatepark and parkour track provided by Weymouth Town Council shows the community, especially younger people, that the council cares about them and wants to give them spaces where they can socialise and thrive. We look forward to seeing people feeling inspired to get on their skateboards, bikes, and scooters and enjoying being outdoors and active – and who knows, perhaps there could be a future Olympic champion in the making?”
