  • Sunday 3rd July sees the return the 14th Sutton Poyntz Victorian Street Fayre after a break of two years.

    Sutton Poyntz village situated between the seaside resort of Weymouth and the County town of Dorchester nestles beneath the rolling Dorset hills. The famous White Horse monument is engraved in the hillside above.

    The beautiful village duck-pond with its row of pretty thatched cottages will be centre stage for the Street Fayre, once again on the first Sunday in July (3rd).

    The villagers of Sutton Poyntz for many years have welcomed visitors to enjoy a day at the Fayre – and 2022 will be no exception. Villagers and stallholders will be dressed in period costume to share the fun of the stalls, traditional dancing, music, pastimes, sideshows and local arts and crafts. A highlight all day will be live music on two stages.

    Parking is free and entry is £4 per person with no charge for children under 14, making the Sutton Poyntz Street Fayre a wonderful day for all the family to enjoy.
