Looks beautiful. Relocating to Weymouth this Friday and can't wait. Been a long time coming. All the photos I keep seeing look so nice.
Such a beautiful sight that was , i live near the beach , seeing the snow coming down was magical , actually stayed laid for a few days , prior to that Spring i can't recall seeing it that bad for a long time an i doubt we will for a few more years , i appreciate that workers , elderly don't like the snow , as it can be dangerous but lovely for little ones to go out and build snowmen , just have fun in it an the older children to go sledging , as a rare occurrence for them ⛄❄⛄❄
Was this taken today as there was no snow when I left this morning
In the late 50s, early 60s I came to Weymouth with my parents every year, couple of times in a caravan then in a wonderful b and b up in Trinity Terrace. Very happy memories
My much loved elderly girl , puzzled by the white stuff leaving her paw prints , she passed away a few months later 💔 , this photo is very precious , 14 years she was my companion through many a illness , health problems 💖
I lived in Weymouth in the mid 80s when I was based at Portland. There were four of us renting a house in Preston.
Amazingly it snowed one day so the four of us, all Northerners as well as sailors, got into action in the garden building a snowman.
The next door neighbour's kids, probably seven or eight years old, had never seen snow before and were astonished with our creation.
Still visit Weymouth several times a year for a day out.
Nooo we’re down in 2 weeks. I expect sunshine and nothing less 😁 have to say it looks lovely though 💚
I was a child caught in the blizzard of 1963 in a mini stuck at the top of Preston Hill. That was scary!! A lorry had jackknifed at the bottom and blocked the road. 😱 A few snowy Winters in Weymouth back then
Winter has a different appeal in Weymouth as you get to meet the real local people who are so friendly
Bloody good job hate snow and ice 😨😨
We moved here from Sutton in Surrey 3 years ago and I thought I wouldn't see snow by the sea but we've had it twice since then and it just makes me love Weymouth even more. We live in Rodwell now and absolutely love it here.
Even covered in snow Weymouth looks beautiful x
such amazing photo i miss my weymouth in all its seasons.
The count down is on for August when I get to come back! It’s the one thing I’m truly excited for.
Weymouth is amazing whatever the weather, cannot wait till June. X
Love Weymouth, but don't want the snow otherwise I won't be able to get there.x
I remember walking across the frozen beach under a pink moon..quite beautiful.
I remember walking on the beach in snow, many years ago now.
Crunchy underfoot, then the frozen crust on the sand underneath!
