The temptation was all too much today. As we sat in the office with the sun streaming through the window we finally gave in to temptation, set the answer phone and escaped for an hour to wander down the Esplanade and pretend for just a short while to be on holiday.
What a fabulous day it was! The beach was busy with lots of happy people making the most of the final arrival of our promised summer heatwave. Couldn’t resist taking a few photos to share …
