Last year it came to light that parts of Greenhill Gardens were at risk of being sold off and lost from the Georgian seafront for ever.
On 7th January this year, Weymouth & Portland Borough Council’s Management Committee agreed to consult on proposals for a new 125 year lease of the Greenhill Gardens chalets, Esplanade chalets, the Greenhill Play Gardens and chalets, the Greenhill Public Conveniences and the associated facilities.
To air your views and to discuss the proposals you can go along to drop-in sessions with the Council’s property team on Thursday 3rd April from 3pm-7pm and Friday 4th April from 12pm- 4pm at The Mulberry Centre, Weymouth.
Copies of the consultation and proposals will be available at the drop-in sessions or can be requested from Weymouth & Portland Borough Council’s Property Team on 01305 252356. You have until 12pm on 9th May 2014 to submit your comments, do you think these should be saved?
