The new version of Far From the Madding Crowd is due for release in cinemas on 1 May. We’re so pleased that so much of the movie was filmed on location in Dorset all within easy reach of Weymouth.
[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”14623″ align=”left”]The cast and crew of the movie talk about their love of Dorset and just why filming in our county was such an inspiring experience.
Thomas Hardy should always be filmed in Dorset, when Tess was filmed in France it just wasn’t right. I wish someone would dramatise some of his short stories for TV, some of them are really humorous, I’m sure they would prove really popular.
