Charles Dickens may be one of the world’s greatest storytellers, but even he finds it hard to connect with his imaginative young son, Walter. When Walter interrupts one of his father’s public readings, Dickens decides to share a story that might just bring them closer together—the story of Jesus Christ. As Dickens begins to tell the tale, Walter’s vivid imagination brings the scenes to life in his mind, from the humble manger to the miracles and teachings of Jesus. As father and son journey through the story together, they discover a deeper understanding of each other and the power of love, faith, and family.
