Can anyone take my place as buddy runner tomorrow. Physio advised no running for 1-2 weeks following treatment for my knackered back. Thanks in advance. Mags ... See MoreSee Less

Stick with the pacing Carole Latimer. Probably no real need for a buddy this week anyway if we're pacing. But I thought Pacers were last weekend of the month. Matthew Ames is pacing this week?

Carole Latimer you're not down for tail walker tomorrow? Are you happy to buddy?

I wasn't down to do anything this week. All I have done is answered Mags original request to replace her as buddy this week 😀

I will Mags, anything to put off my PB attempt x

    Hello green fingered parkrunners

We’ve had an email from Friends of Lodmoor Country Park who are looking for volunteers to help plant some snowdrops in the park.

If you can help, please contact Dinah directly on the numbers below.

    Thanks

As part of our ongoing project to restore the planting in the Woodland Walk we have bought 2,000 "in the green" snowdrop plants, ordered through the Parks Dept.

These arrived without warning, and are now waiting to be planted so we need volunteers to help.

If you could spare any time at all from now onwards, please email me back, ring 01305 772075 or TEXT your details to 07896545449

I'll get back to you to arrange planting sessions.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

    Best wishes,
    Dinah

    Polly Sabine x

Some additional info from FoLCP. All welcome to help our park look it’s best and FoLCP would appreciate it if anyone can spare an hour or two on Saturday or Sunday. We’ll be in the Woodland Walk between 10.00 am and 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, so if you can make it you’ll be very welcome. We’ll be starting from the furthest end from the bridge. Please bring trowels, forks and gloves if you have them - We will have some tools there anyway. To check on progress in case we finish early, please TEXT 07896545449.
