Weymouth BID are investing £10,000 in festive attractions for Weymouth Victorian Shownight which takes place on Friday 6 December.
These will include a synthetic ice rink; Santa arriving in his sleigh pulled by real reindeer; the official switching on of the town’s Christmas lights by the mayor with carol singing by local choirs; a live performance by Weymouth’s very own Rock Choir.
These activities will be supported by a dedicated Wessex FM roadshow; 15,000 leaflets, posters, banners, features in the Echo and full social media support.
