Hello to you all, it may seem like we've been hibernating here at the Museum but quite the oppposite!.... so much has been going on behind the scenes during the winter months and I will be posting bits and pieces from our new and improved exhibitions during the coming weeks.

We will be opening our doors on Sunday 2nd April from 10.30am until 4.00pm and look forward to welcoming visitors old and new.

To kick off the season with a fundraiser for the Museum there will be a talk this Thursday by Brian Jackson on The History of Motor Bus Services to the Isle of Portland. Brian always puts on an entertaining show with lots of facts and pictures. Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Friends of Portland Museum members entry is £4, non members £5. Tea, coffee and biscuits are included in cost of entry plus entry into a free prize draw. All proceeds to Portland Museum Charitable Trust.
