Like a number of seaside towns, Weymouth has struggled in the past with people causing trouble on the streets on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Times are changing though and Dorset Police say measures put in place to tackle drink-fuelled problems here are working. Many of the town’s most popular bars and clubs have come together through Pubwatch and The Best Bar None Scheme and worked hard in partnership with the police and the local authority to make a night out in Weymouth an enjoyable experience … we’ll drink to that !
